The predicted salary is between 29700 - 36300 Β£ per year.
Due to growth and development, we are looking for a professional and committed class 1 drivers with a history of good attendance and reliability, to join our team in the transportation of aggregate materials & animal feed.
Applicants must demonstrate:
- A good understanding of drivers hours, WTD & tachograph regulations
- An ability to deliver excellent customer service and promote the Company name
- A strong understanding of all relevant Health & Safety legislation associated with the role
- Good communication skills to both our Customers and the Transport Team
- A strong team ethic
Responsibilities:
- Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles to transport goods safely and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with all driving regulations and company policies.
- Conduct pre & post daily inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
- Deliver goods to designated locations while adhering to delivery schedules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
Requirements:
- Preferably have tipping & TASCC experience
- Hold a clean, Class C + E licence
- Hold a valid CPC Card
- Hold a valid Driver Card
