The predicted salary is between 22000 - 26000 £ per year.
This role will include working across our Y5/6 and Y3/4 class and holistically contributing to the educational experiences of all our children. This role encompasses breakfast club, classroom work, intervention, supervision and engagement at unstructured times and contributing to the wider ethos and values of the school.
We are seeking:
- Someone who is competent in literacy, numeracy and the use of IT
- Has experience of supporting children to learn and grow both academically and as independent, confident citizens
- Is able to work as part of a small team in a calm, nurturing, trauma informed, relational, learning environment
- Someone who is able to be flexible and resilient in their approach to pupil support, being creative with their approaches and interactions to best meet individuals' needs
Duties will include:
- Supporting learning with children during whole class teaching, in small groups and individual interventions
- Closing learning gaps with groups of children and supporting the class teaching in recording achievements
- Assistance for teachers including administrative tasks, preparing resources, displaying work, organising the classroom, play time duties etc.
- Supporting the social, emotional and health needs of all children.
