What will you be doing?

The Graduate Digital Construction Coordinator supports the practical use of digital construction methods, information management processes and project technologies across live infrastructure projects. The role sits within the Digital function and works alongside project delivery, design, engineering, information management and site teams.

The role exists to build future digital construction capability while providing hands‑on support to projects. This is a structured graduate development role. The successful candidate will gain experience across the project lifecycle, including mobilisation, design coordination, construction delivery, progress monitoring and digital handover. They will progressively take ownership of defined work packages as their technical knowledge and confidence develop.

As part of the role, you will:

  • Support the setup of project digital systems, common data environments, model collaboration processes, user access, templates and agreed information workflows.
  • Help review and translate client and project digital requirements into clear, practical actions for delivery teams, escalating uncertainty to the relevant manager.
  • Assist with federating, reviewing and coordinating three-dimensional models; record issues, support clash resolution and track actions through to closure.
  • Carry out supervised checks of models, documents and structured data for naming, status, completeness, accuracy and compliance with agreed standards.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance on approved digital tools and workflows, resolving basic user issues and escalating technical problems when required.
  • Prepare guidance, demonstrations and short training sessions, and collect feedback to improve adoption and user experience.
  • Support the use of mobile field tools, reality capture, digital progress records and other approved technologies that connect site activity with project information.
  • Assist teams in collating, validating and organising models, asset information, records and other digital deliverables for staged reviews and final handover.
  • Capture lessons learned, identify inefficient activities and contribute ideas for standardisation, automation and improved digital ways of working.
  • Own the agreed graduate development plan, complete required learning and seek feedback, mentoring and practical project experience.
  • Follow health, safety, quality, information security and data protection requirements when using digital systems and supporting project teams.

This role is available for a September 2027 start, with the possibility of an earlier start date to suit yourself and the business.

As part of the graduate programme you will be expected to work in and around the location advertised, with the possibility for expanding travel to other projects and locations in the future. This may include staying away from home.

What are we looking for?

We invite applications from graduates who are passionate about the industry and have achieved, or are on track to achieve a Bachelors or Masters degree in Digital Construction / BIM / Construction Management / Architectural Technology (or similar) prior to September 2027.

A full UK driving licence (or currently learning, you will be expected to have obtained a Full UK Driving Licence by 6th September 2027) and the eligibility to live and work in the UK without restriction is essential for this role.
