A specialist GTM recruitment agency in London is seeking a Manager or Principal to move into Management for their growing USA focused recruitment team. The MD is looking for a number 2 and a leader in the business. This is a billing position, leading from the front, working a desk and leading in terms of BD and relationship management, and then growing a team and providing strategic support to the business.

The MD is very involved and billing and part of the day-to-day business, and you will be working alongside him closely. The business is remote with days in London (a few days a month and also client meetings when needed). You need to be commutable to London and pay for this yourself, but 90% of the time will be remote working from home.

They specialise in retained and contingent hiring which they do on an exclusive basis. They focus on Sales, marketing, and product roles for specialist tech businesses that are going through growth and transformation. They typically target clients without an internal recruitment team and then fill all their roles for them, recruiting into the USA, UK, and Europe. Growth is very USA focused at the moment.

Average invoice values are £15K to £20K in the UK and $30K to $45K in the USA. Commission is 40-50% per placement for personal billings!

Ideal Candidate:
  • You will have needed to have hired GTM roles into tech clients previously and have a good understanding of the market.
  • You will have needed to manage or oversee consultants' training and line management responsibilities.
  • A natural motivator that loves building up consultants and improving their billings.
  • You will need ideally at least 5 years recruitment experience in a perm or executive search agency that specialises in Tech.
  • You do not have to have worked on retained roles before, but this would be an advantage.
  • Ideally, you will have experience managing a remote team.

Please note this is a commercial role building and managing in an agency environment, so you will not be accepted if you have a Talent Acquisition or internal recruitment background.
