A specialist recruitment company based in Canterbury is looking to hire a trainee recruiter/junior recruitment consultant. The business is well established as a specialist agency with an excellent reputation and market knowledge in their field. There will be a lot of existing business.

The Role

  • 360 recruitment consultant position
  • This position is hybrid with 3 days in the office
  • The position is accessible by train, so you don't need a driving licence to apply

The Selling Points

  • £25,000 to £30,000 basic salary depending on experience
  • Uncapped commission with no threshold or desk fees
  • You will earn 10% to 40% in commission on the deal value of every person you place. For example, if you placed two people in one month and the company earned £30,000 for this business, you would take 40% of this as commission. This is a very high-earning role.
  • You will receive a structured training programme at all levels to help you hit your targets and your next promotion criteria
  • 10 levels of promotion within the team, so you are never far from a base salary increase!
  • As soon as you hit the next financial target in sales, you will be promoted automatically, and your base will increase by a few thousand each time

The Requirements

  • You will likely come from a sales or recruitment environment already with at least 6 months of business-to-business experience
  • You will be used to working in a busy fast-paced environment with lots of time on the phone
  • Hard working and really motivated to earn a lot of money and reach targets

If you have no agency recruitment experience, you will be hired on £25K with fast progression to £27K then £30K (usually within 18 months). OTE will be £35K to £40K in year 1 then increase significantly in the following years. Only candidates based in the UK and eligible to work in the UK are allowed.
