Senior Partner – CFO – Private Capital – Base to £400k + Bonus & Equity Pathway

Higher Group is advising a Tier 1 Search Firm, ranked in the Forbes Top 20 Management Consultancies to the Private Sector, on their search for a Senior Partner to spearhead their CFO Practice. This role will cover their current clientele, spanning Large Cap, Mega Cap, and Elite Corporate clients. The average order value currently sits at £175k, with plans to increase this to £200k without compromising their junior relationships.

A current challenger to the \’SHREKs\’, this firm recently won two Large Cap searches against the aforementioned competitors. They offer elite functional specialists with a broader track record across all key sectors. With a Partner-led approach, clients are significantly more satisfied, as the firm delivers elite candidates without the delays and extra steps often associated with traditional search firms.

Current Focus Areas:

• Chief Transformation Officers
• Chief Executive Officers
• Chief Technology Officers
• Chief Operating Officers
• Operating Partners & Managing Directors

The firm’s average NFI YTD sits at £500,000 across their junior operators, with Partners achieving significantly higher figures. This is a firm that promotes crossover and internal collaboration, with over 60% of last year’s fees split across practice areas.

As Lead of the CFO Practice, you will:

• Walk into 25+ Mega and Large Cap relationships with immediate need
• Have UK, EU, and US access
• Receive direct mentoring from the firm’s CEO
• Tap into the firm’s extensive research and delivery talent pool

• Blend your personal track record with the firm’s client record to fill vacant searches immediately
• Establish a market-leading CFO offering
• Provide your own ideas and vision, with a carte blanche remit
• Collaborate extensively internally and work with wider functions

Who are you?

• Currently originating CFO searches across PE or corporate clientele
• Looking for a ‘no red tape’ firm to action your ideas
• Excited and highly collaborative
• Experience as a Practice Lead is desirable but not essential
