This is a rare opportunity to take the helm of a profitable, well-run soft services-led operator with strong foundations, a loyal client base and sector-leading sustainability credentials — and to drive it back to scale and beyond.
The core of this role is outward-facing: networking, client relationships, new-business origination and winning work. It is underpinned by the commercial and operational credibility to lead a rounded business and an authentic, people-first leadership style.
The Role
- Reporting to the Executive MD with full P&L responsibility, you will:
- Drive proactive, relationship-led growth; originating and converting new business, not simply delivering organic growth.
- Build commercial momentum and bid discipline, raising win-rate and quality.
- Lead and motivate the team, championing a positive, high-performance culture.
- The focus is on bringing quality contracts into the business and building reputation.
- Champion the business externally and position it for long-term scale, including a future acquisition.
The person we are looking for
- A genuine growth driver with proven, relationship-led origination and a live sector network.
- An authentic people leader.
- Strong commercial acumen and operational credibility in FM / soft services.
- An even-keeled, hands-on, entrepreneurial temperament suited to an owner-led business.
- The ambition and commitment to scale the business significantly over the long term.
- The true ability to run the company autonomously, while being open with the ownership.
On Offer
- A very competitive base salary, Annual bonus, plus long-term incentive.
This is a confidential, retained search. Please apply in confidence with a CV and contact details. All approaches will be handled discreetly.
