We're conducting an exclusive search on behalf of a highly regarded real estate investor and developer for a Development Manager to join its London team. This is a genuinely rare opportunity for someone looking to accelerate their career in development.
Whilst strong financial and analytical skills are important, this is far from a traditional modelling role. Instead, you'll take ownership of projects across the full development lifecycle, gaining exposure to planning, design development, consultant management, procurement, leasing strategy, project delivery and commercial decision-making.
A key differentiator is the level of mentorship on offer. You'll work directly alongside an exceptional Development Director with an outstanding track record of delivering landmark office developments, providing a unique opportunity to develop into a well-rounded development professional.
The role would suit either:
- An existing Development Manager looking for greater responsibility and exposure.
- A high-performing Development Analyst, Investment Analyst or similar who has developed strong financial modelling skills and is now looking to transition into a broader development management role.
You'll retain ownership of the development appraisal and financial model throughout the lifecycle of each scheme, using it as a commercial tool to support key decisions, rather than as the sole focus of your role.
