Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, Real Estate (pbsa) in Slough

We are seeking a proactive and commercially driven FP&A Manager to a new and growing business within the Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) sector.

Based in London, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to play a key role in shaping financial strategy and supporting business performance across a dynamic and expanding real estate portfolio.

This role will report directly to the CEO & CFO, offering strong exposure to senior leadership and strategic decision-making during the growth of the business, which has recently secured a new funding partner for their future growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, budgeting and forecasting processes for the PBSA business
• Provide high-quality financial reporting and insights to institutional investors and key stakeholders
• Partner closely with Operations, investment and Development teams to deliver commercial analysis and performance optimisation
• Produce regular reporting packs, variance analysis and KPI dashboards for leadership and investment partners
• Support investment appraisals, acquisitions, and business cases for new and existing assets
• Drive continuous improvement in reporting tools, data accuracy and financial models
• Line manage and mentor an Analyst reporting into the role

About You

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong FP&A experience, ideally within real estate, hospitality, PBSA or another operational property environment
• Proven experience presenting and reporting to institutional investors or similar high-level audiences
• Advanced financial modelling and data analysis capabilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• A self-starter with a commercial mindset and confidence operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
