I am currently working with one of the leading names in London Development to find a Senior Development Manager to work across an incredibly well known portfolio of schemes. With the ever changing nature of Real Estate, this role is to focus on their commercial schemes to identify and deliver ways to update and increase value to their existing assets. The Senior Development Manager role will focus predominantly on the early stages of the Development lifecycle, looking at ways to drive value and create offices that are both attractive to occupiers and tenants, and highly sustainable.
This role will require someone with a strong understanding of the London office market, with experience as a Development Manager, ideally on the client side.
The Senior Development Manager’s responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out detailed feasibility and viability studies
- Selection, appointing and management of external professional teams
- Lead and manage design team meetings
- Work with internal and external stakeholders
- Manage projects through planning applications
- Create and manage business plan
- Manage and oversee development budgets and costs
The Senior Development Manager will have:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Real Estate working on Offices
- Development Management experience, ideally client side.
- Strong numerical skills and ability to manage cashflows
- A good knowledge of leasing
- Ability to respond to market conditions and adapt developments accordingly
- Strong commercial knowledge.
Salary and benefits: £80,000 - £120,000 (experience depending), Healthy Bonus, Excellent healthcare, pension, and wider benefits.
