I’m recruiting a Senior Development Manager for a London-focused living-sector investment and development platform with a substantial live pipeline and a long-term ownership mindset. The business is institutionally backed, led by a highly experienced senior team with a strong track record. The platform is actively scaling its London portfolio, with a large volume of work already on site and further schemes moving through the pipeline.
This is a full-lifecycle role with a clear delivery emphasis, requiring a strong technical project management skillset. There are multiple London schemes currently on site, representing nine-figure levels of live construction activity across the portfolio. You will take a lead role across design, procurement and construction, working closely with contractors and consultant teams, and owning programme, cost and quality through to handover, while maintaining oversight of the wider development process.
The workload is significant, by design. The team is high-quality, highly skilled and deliberately lean, and this is a senior position within it. The right person will have a meaningful voice in how projects are structured and delivered, how technical and commercial risks are managed, and how delivery standards are set across the portfolio. High performance is recognised and rewarded.
While the immediate focus is on live delivery, this is not a narrow position. As the platform continues to grow, the role provides genuine end-to-end development exposure, including earlier-stage involvement, buildability input, procurement strategy and close interaction with the investment side.
They are open on background. Candidates can come from consultancy or client-side roles (client side preferred), but must bring strong living-sector experience and a robust technical delivery background, and be comfortable leading multiple projects simultaneously.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is commercially sharp, technically confident and motivated by responsibility and pace. If this sounds like the right next step, upload your CV and I’ll arrange a time to speak.
