I am currently looking for a Senior Development Manager to join one of London's highest regarded Developers of Offices and Mixed-Use schemes. The business has been behind some of the highest profile projects in the city over the last 5 years, is incredibly well funded, and has an ambitious outlook with the pipeline to match.
The Senior Development Manager role would see you working closely with the Development Director on commercial projects in the city, and ultimately be given autonomy to work across the full lifecycle of the development process with exposure to leasing and early stage asset management strategy. This role would suit someone who has significant Development experience across London office schemes with a good understanding of leasing.
The Senior Development Manager role will include:
- Working closely with Analysts and acquisition team to bring on new opportunities
- Working closely with Investors and external funders
- Carry out detailed development appraisals and create value from the outset
- Manage projects through design and planning stages
- Work closely with all internal and external stakeholders
- Manage and oversee tendering and procurement of contractors (with a 3rd party PM)
- Oversee successful delivery of project in accordance with business plan
- Create and oversee leasing strategy and implementation across your schemes
The Senior Development Manager is likely to have:
- Significant and demonstrable experience Developing London Offices
- Roughly 10 years' experience, most of which ideally client side
- A strong all round knowledge of the entire development lifecycle
- Excellent numerical skills
- Ability to take leadership of projects and drive schemes from the outset
- MRICS qualified and a surveying background
