I am looking for a Development Manager to join one of London's best known Developers who are working across some of the highest profile schemes in London. This role would focus on a multi-phased regeneration project, initially leading the Development of a new Primary School throughout the entire lifecycle, from early stage feasibility and viability, through design and planning, as well as delivery. The role would also see you working on the wider masterplan and undeveloped plots which includes early stage feasibility and viability assessments, disposal and partnership work on plots within the masterplan. The Developer is one of the highest regarded in the industry and would see you work on some excellent schemes.
Given the nature of the role and the variety in the projects, this role would suit someone who has exposure to the full lifecycle of project with experience undertaking detailed development appraisals as well as competent throughout the delivery stages.
Development Manager role will include:
- Development Management of a new Primary School
- Working closely with internal and external stakeholders
- Management of design and planning teams
- Procurement and tendering of contractors
- Collaborate with other members of the DM team across infrastructure and programme
- Exploring, Developing, and Delivering viable development opportunities for undeveloped parts of the masterplan
- Creating and executing land sales and partnership opportunities
The Development Manager is likely to have:
- Circa 5 years' experience in real estate, ideally from a Project Management consultancy
- Ambition to learn and get stuck into a mixture of roles across a variety of asset classes
- Strong numerical skills
- A good knowledge and understanding of the planning process.
Salary and package include strong discretionary bonus, private healthcare and a full benefit package.
