I am looking for a Land Manager to join one of the leading names in Development. The company focuses solely on large scale, residentially led schemes in London. They have deep pockets and the genuine ability to acquire new schemes. They target sites that will be both solely owned and also in partnership with major land owners. They are incredibly busy and are in a significant growth period.

The role of Land Manager is to focus on the appraisal and acquisition of new schemes within an existing partnership with a major land owner. You will be responsible for the technical due diligence of potential acquisitions, covering detailed appraisals, technical and legal due diligence. The schemes are complex in nature, so this role would suit someone who has been involved in the acquisition of high density schemes in London.

The Land Manager will:

  • Work alongside the land team to ensure acquisition of deliverable schemes
  • Appraise multiple sites and schemes
  • Manage the acquisition of schemes from inception through to exchange and completion
  • Work across the legals on acquisitions
  • Work closely with Land owners and partners within the acquisition process
  • Contribute across the board on all acquisitions throughout the lifecycle
  • Create detailed feasibility and viability assessments.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have 2 plus years working within London Land and or Development
  • Be financially astute and able to build detailed appraisals
  • Understand legal and commercial aspects of the acquisition process
  • Be able to work in a fast paced environment, both independently and as part of a team
  • Be confident and able to build strong external networks with agents

Salary and Benefits: £45,000 - £70,000, Large annual bonus, Flexible working.
