We are seeking a proactive and commercially driven FP&A Manager to a new and growing business within the Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) sector. Based in London, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to play a key role in shaping financial strategy and supporting business performance across a dynamic and expanding real estate portfolio. This role will report directly to the CEO & CFO, offering strong exposure to senior leadership and strategic decision-making during the growth of the business, which has recently secured a new funding partner for their future growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, budgeting and forecasting processes for the PBSA business
- Provide high-quality financial reporting and insights to institutional investors and key stakeholders
- Partner closely with Operations, investment and Development teams to deliver commercial analysis and performance optimisation
- Produce regular reporting packs, variance analysis and KPI dashboards for leadership and investment partners
- Support investment appraisals, acquisitions, and business cases for new and existing assets
- Drive continuous improvement in reporting tools, data accuracy and financial models
- Line manage and mentor an Analyst reporting into the role
About You
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong FP&A experience, ideally within real estate, hospitality, PBSA or another operational property environment
- Proven experience presenting and reporting to institutional investors or similar high‑level audiences
- Advanced financial modelling and data analysis capabilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A self‑starter with a commercial mindset and confidence operating in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment
