A privately owned real estate investment and development platform is looking to appoint an Investment Analyst to join its team. With a proven track record across c.Β£1bn of development value, the business has invested in, funded and delivered complex projects across London and the South East. Entrepreneurial and well-capitalised, it focuses on planning-led acquisitions, joint ventures and forward funding structures, with an active pipeline across the living sector and mixed-use opportunities.

The role is underwriting-focused, with scope to develop into a full lifecycle position as you grow with the business. Working closely with senior decision makers, you'll play a key role in appraising new opportunities and supporting transactions through each stage of the investment process.

Key responsibilities:

  • Financial modelling and underwriting for acquisitions and development appraisals
  • Investment analysis and due diligence on prospective transactions
  • Support the appraisal of new investment opportunities across living sector and mixed-use schemes
  • Prepare investment papers and support transaction execution
  • Analyse debt and equity funding structures
  • Support reporting throughout the development lifecycle
  • Growing exposure to origination, delivery and disposal as the role develops

About you:

  • Strong financial modelling and underwriting experience across living sector, mixed-use or other asset classes is essential
  • Entrepreneurial, keen to grow into a broader, full lifecycle role
  • Proficient in Excel and Argus, with the commercial judgement to back the numbers
