I am recruiting a Senior Development Project Manager to join one of London’s best known Developers. The company are behind some of the cities best known regeneration schemes and have an exceptional pipeline of projects across various schemes. They are currently entering a significant stage of delivery at one of the key sites and are looking for a Senior Development Project Manager to lead the delivery of living schemes. While there is longevity in their pipeline, the company has the appetite and capital to acquire more.
As Senior Development Project Manager you will be responsible for the delivery of high density schemes through construction from various stages including detailed design. The role will also see you work closely with the wider Development team, managing internal and external stakeholders, external consultants and contractors. As such, you will need to have demonstrable experience delivering high density living projects in London.
The Senior Development Project Manager role will include:
- Have overall responsibility to manage delivery of numerous projects
- Management of external Professional teams, including Project Management, QS and EA’s
- Management of the contractor, including ensuring planning conditions are satisfied
- Manage and oversee all necessary changes to design and plans during delivery
- Management of project finance and budgets
- Report to key stakeholders, including internal and external
- Deliver scheme to Practical Completion on time and within budget
The Successful Applicant will have:
- Experience as a Project Manager, ideally on the client side
- Demonstrable experience delivering high density living schemes
- Excellent team working skills as well as communication
- Experience managing either Tier 1 or Tier 2 Main Contractor
- Ability to manage numerous schemes at various stages in their lifecycle
Salary and package £90,000 - £120,000 – experience depending. Discretionary bonus. Excellent wider package of benefits.
