I am currently working with a globally recognised institution who own and operate a large mixed portfolio of schemes in central London. They are also an active Developer currently working across a large scale, mixed-use masterplan. My client is looking to appoint an Investment and Development Manager to work across the masterplan with a focus on one particular asset which is set to be a multi award winning commercial scheme.
The role would suit someone with strong Investment experience as well as experience managing the Development process. An experienced Surveyor would be well suited to the role or an Analyst who is looking to gain more Development experience.
The Investment and Development Manager will:
- Appraise and underwrite key development decisions on projects
- Build development appraisals to assess best use for projects
- Manage design team meetings
- Select, appoint, and manage external consultants and professional teams
- Oversee planning, design and delivery of projects
- Manage key stakeholders both internally and externally
The successful applicant will:
- Have demonstrable experience managing complex development schemes
- Be confident presenting to and managing stakeholders
- Be able to interpret and manipulate complex financial models
- Be willing to work hard and learn, and pick up on any aspect of the project when required
- Have excellent communication and organisational skills
