I am currently looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join a leading provider of private healthcare. My client is headquartered in central London and has large expansion plans to deliver further hospitals and surgeries for their ever-expanding client base. Their clients are typically HNW’s, so the product is of a very high standard.
The role would see you work with the Head of Development and would focus on the management of fit-out of newly acquired spaces. The ideal candidate will have experience in Cat A or Cat B fit-out and is keen to expand their skillset. The Development team is lean, so you will gain excellent exposure in an ever-expanding sector.
The Assistant Project Manager will:
- Undertake feasibility studies to assess the potential design, cost and programme of early-stage concepts.
- Create project briefs to accurately record the requirements of the business and set the project on its path to successful delivery.
- Lead meetings with external and internal stakeholders to discuss various elements of the capital project.
- Obtain & review quotes and appoint design team members to form project teams.
- Develop designs for new clinics or support space, working alongside internal users and external design/construction partners.
- Prepare and deliver appropriate procurement strategies for the building works, ensuring value for money is achieved and the most efficient programme is maintained.
- Work alongside and report progress to the Head of Development.
The successful applicant is likely to have:
- 1-2 years’ experience in real estate construction, contractor, consultancy or client side.
- A real estate related degree, or industry experience.
- Experience in cost management and procurement.
- Experience managing fit-out projects.
- A strong work ethic and looking to grow and advance their career.
Salary and benefits:
- £42,000 - £46,000
- Discretionary Bonus
