Position Location: London, or USA ET. Candidates should expect frequent travel to London, as well as travel to clients globally.
As the company’s VP of Product Data & Analytics, you will be driving the vision, strategy, and value clients are getting from their Utility Data Model (UDM). This is a global, high-impact product management leadership role owning the strategy and execution of the UDM, allowing you to work on genuine frontier problems with immediate real-world application. This role will report jointly to the Chief AI & Corporate Development Officer and the Engineering COO.
Primary Responsibilities
- Own the product strategy for the company’s UDM, defining what to model and the technical implementation approach, whilst overseeing its data sharing strategy, governance, and quality standards, and driving the product’s adoption.
- Own strategy and roadmap for ‘AI-on-UDM,’ enabling teams and clients to build analytics and AI products on the company’s data model.
- Oversee the product manager and analytics teams, with a focus on providing insights as a client service to better enable them to build data-driven products.
- Build and manage a small data science team that solves high-value problems to advance the company’s competitive position.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of product leadership experience, specifically within complex B2B2C Enterprise Software environments. Experience with large-scale ERP or CRM systems is a major plus.
- A history of “Data” roles, with experience in successfully transforming technology infrastructure into organised, productised assets.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to balance technical and business needs, whilst bridging the gap between technical details and strategic CEO-level messaging.
- Strong technical literacy, with a keen understanding of data stewardship, semantic modeling, and API product management.
- Strong strategic skills, with an equal ability to develop the product and pitch it.
- A genuine passion for data and the customer experience.
