An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Swimming Pool Attendant, to assist in the supervision of the swimming pool, ensuring the health and safety of pupils at all times on a casual basis.
We aim to provide:

- Strong relationships between staff and pupils
Purpose of Job:
- Observes and patrols pool and enforces safety regulations to pupils.
- Working closely with the swimming instructor.
- Assists swimmers from water when in danger.
- Maintain adequate pool coverage.
- Provide excellent service consistent with the school standards operating procedures.
- Support pupils upon arrival.
- Knowledgeable of pool facility such as length and depth of all pools.
- To resolve issues immediately.
- Identify and report defects throughout the pool to Premises Officer, notifying them of any concerns, immediate hazards, injuries, equipment or processes that negatively affect the operations.
- Ensure swimming pools is clean at all times and report any maintenance issues to Premises Officer.
- Pool water testing.
- Ensure the pool deck is swept and watered down and that all furniture is in the correct place.
- Trained first aider.
- Knowledge of safety hazards and necessary safety precautions sufficient to be able to establish a safe work environment for self and others.
- Knowledge of swimming pool equipment sufficient to be able to perform minor maintenance work on the equipment.
