Vacancy: Peripatetic Teacher of Guitar (self-employed) Required for September 2026.
We are seeking to appoint an excellent Guitar Teacher to join our warm and vibrant Music Department at our Highclare Senior School. The expectation is 2 hours teaching per week, with the potential to increase, to perform demos and run guitar ensembles to recruit new students.
Highclare School is a well‑established independent day school delivering an outstanding education in a caring and inclusive environment, for pupils aged 2 to 18 years. We aim to nurture and inspire, igniting pupils’ interests throughout their entire school life, so they become well‑rounded, confident, and enthusiastic young people, both now and in the future.
Willingness to contribute to the extra‑curricular life of the school is essential. The successful candidate will be self‑employed and responsible for the billing costs and communication with parents regarding lessons.
Please note – This role is currently based at Highclare Senior School. Any reference to the Prep School in the Job Description is not applicable for this role.
