We are seeking a Coatings Applicator to join our Client, a prestigious company based in Norwich. If you are reliable, enthusiastic, self-motivated, and have a strong eye for detail, we would love to hear from you. This role requires flexibility to travel and work outside normal hours, including weekends.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carrying out thorough surface preparation and applying coatings with precision to ensure durability and a high-quality finish.
  • Following all safety rules, maintaining excellent compliance standards, and contributing to a safe working environment.
  • Effective time management and coordination with the team to ensure all projects are completed on schedule.
  • Maintaining tools and equipment, ensuring they remain reliable and in good working order.
  • Communicating clearly with colleagues and clients, providing regular updates, clarifying requirements, and supporting smooth project delivery.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
  • Competence in surface preparation techniques such as blasting, power tooling, and solvent cleaning.
  • Understanding of different coating types, application methods, and required film thicknesses.
  • Ability to operate and maintain a range of industry-specific tools and machinery.
  • Strong commitment to health and safety practices, along with a clear understanding of legal responsibilities.
  • Experience in inspecting coatings for thickness, adhesion, uniformity, and overall appearance.
  • Strong communication skills to communicate professionally and effectively with colleagues and clients.
Hours, Salary & Benefits
  • Hours: 7:30am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
  • Salary: £30,000 basic
  • Overtime: Paid
