Due to continued growth, our city‐based client is looking to recruit a Junior Procurement Assistant to work closely with the Head of Procurement. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is organised, confident, and full of common sense, with a real roll‐your‐sleeves‐up attitude. The Role

  • You will support the day‐to‐day procurement function, helping to ensure everything runs smoothly.
  • Your responsibilities will include:
    • Providing centralised administrative support to the procurement team, including booking meetings, arranging transport and deliveries, and handling internal enquiries.
    • Creating and managing purchase orders.
    • Resolving escalated invoice queries and responding to supplier enquiries.
    • Onboarding and setting up new suppliers, including database administration.
    • Acting as a key link between the procurement team, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
    • Supporting low‐value tender exercises.
    • Producing regular procurement reports.
    • Ensuring supplier and vendor information is accurate and kept up to date within procurement systems.
