Overview
We are working with a Client who require a skilled Fuel Handler. Reporting to the Fuel Handling Team Leader, you will manage fuel handling operations, from reception to by-product removal, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient processes.
You will operate the fuel handling plant in line with safety, environmental, and industry best practices to maintain high availability and operational efficiency. Flexibility in working patterns is essential, and occasional national travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities

Operate fuel handling and by-product plants safely, efficiently, and within environmental and operational limits.

Perform routine checks, inspections, and fuel handling activities, including LOLER and vehicle pre-use checks.

Manage loading and unloading of fuel, by-products, and other deliveries.

Monitor fuel quality and conduct monthly audits and stock takes.

Support operations and maintenance teams with defect rectification, planned/reactive maintenance, and fault finding.

Record all fuel handling activities in the site\βs CMMS system.

Assist during planned outages, which may involve standard day shifts.

Follow health, safety, and environmental policies, and contribute to the development of site procedures.

Comply with company policies, including the Employment Handbook, H&S Policy, and IMS System.
