A Lloyd's Syndicate is looking for an experienced Data Architect to join them in London. The role will focus around helping to shape and scale their data strategy, building MVP’s and designing Snowflake DWH. This is a hands-on, deeply technical, IC role. No team management. A strong understanding of Snowflake is essential.
What You’ll Do
- Design and manage enterprise data architecture using Snowflake
- Build and optimize data pipelines, warehouses, and lakes
- Work with engineering, analytics, and business teams to align on data needs
- Define best practices for data governance, quality, and security
- Help modernize legacy systems and move them to the cloud
- Stay up to date on new tools, trends, and technologies
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years in data architecture or related roles
- Solid hands-on experience with Snowflake
- Strong skills in data modeling, SQL, and ETL/ELT design
- Experience working in cloud-first environments
- Good communicator, team player and easy to work with.
Nice to Have
- Snowflake Certifications
- Experience with real-time data tools
- Knowledge of data governance tools (Purview, Collibra)
Flexible working with minimum 1 day PW in the City office. Comp is base of £115K - £125K + Bonus + Pension + Healthcare.
