Newly created position within a specialist risk manager. We’re looking for a Data Scientist who can help unlock underwriting potential and drive competitive advantage in risk selection.
Role will involve building exposure datasets, developing analytical models, and integrating advanced AI/LLMs to support decision-making across the business. We want someone who is a go-getter, who can work with autonomy and who’s driven to find value within data.
Tech wise we’d expect you to have a strong grasp of Python and SQL. From an industry perspective, ideally Insurance/Reinsurance, or knowledge of Cat Modelling, risk analytics or geospatial analytics.
Fundamentally though you have to be a team player, have the ability to communicate effectively across the business and be easy to work with.
Base is £70K - £80K + Bonus (15%) + Bens with a tonne of potential to build upon this in the medium to long-term. Mainly based in office with flex to work from home on a Friday. Location is EC4.
