Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support the implementation of a centralized and automated e-invoicing solution across Germany, the UK, and Poland.
The role will focus on gathering business and regulatory requirements, defining future-state processes, and supporting compliance with German B2B e-invoicing regulations, Go BD requirements, multi-VAT scenarios, and future EU Vi DA standards.
- Core Responsibilities
- Gather and document business, functional, tax, and compliance requirements.
- Assess current invoice-receiving, validation, processing, and archiving processes.
- Define future-state e-invoicing processes and business workflows.
- Support structured invoice formats such as XRechnung and ZUGFe RD.
- Capture requirements for multi-entity, multi-country, and multi-VAT scenarios.
- Ensure requirements cover Go BD-compliant archiving and non-recoverable input tax scenarios.
- Coordinate with Finance, Tax, Accounts Payable, Compliance, IT, and implementation teams.
- Prepare process flows, user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Support solution design, testing, defect resolution, deployment, and business readiness.
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort, improve efficiency, and minimize compliance risks.
- Required Skills and Experience
- 6-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within Finance, Tax, or Accounts Payable transformation.
- Strong understanding of invoicing, VAT, accounts payable, and financial processes.
- Experience with e-invoicing, tax compliance, or finance transformation programs.
- Knowledge of German B2B e-invoicing regulations, XRechnung, ZUGFe RD, and Go BD is preferred.
- Experience working with SAP, ERP, invoice management, or tax technology solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, documentation, and analytical skills.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting multi-country European implementations.
- Knowledge of EU Vi DA regulations and digital tax reporting.
- Experience in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
- Exposure to automation, workflow, OCR, AI, or intelligent invoice-processing solutions.
