Operations Manager Job Type : Full-Time, Permanent, Onsite. Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead a complex operational site handling specialist waste treatment, recycling, and resource recovery activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on operational leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong focus on safety, people development, operational performance, and continuous improvement. As Operations Manager, you will take full responsibility for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the facility. You will lead multiple operational teams, drive performance improvements, and ensure all activities are delivered in line with environmental, health and safety, and quality standards. You will play a key role in developing operational strategy, improving site performance, managing assets and maintenance programmes, and fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and operational excellence. Lead and manage day-to-day site operations to ensure safe and efficient performance. • Monitor and improve operational KPIs, productivity, quality, and cost performance. • Coordinate multiple operational disciplines to ensure consistent delivery and performance. • Manage asset reliability and maintenance programmes, including planned preventative Ensure compliance with environmental permits, ISO standards, and management systems. • Work closely with internal departments, suppliers, contractors, and external stakeholders. • Oversee operational projects, change management activities, and process improvements. • Develop and mentor operational teams through training, coaching, and performance Support workforce planning, recruitment, succession planning, and employee development.
