Overview

Duties And Responsibilities
- Liaise with clients to fully understand their requirements and perform audit, accounts, taxation, and other business-related activities on their behalf, ensuring all work is accurate and professionally presented.
- Stay current with relevant legislation and take appropriate actions in managing client affairs, including informing clients about new laws, official dates and deadlines.
- Manage client relationships and act as a key point of contact, updating clients on job progress, resolving queries effectively, and escalating matters to the Partner responsible for the client when necessary.
- Oversee and delegate client tasks to ensure jobs are completed accurately, professionally, and within compliance deadlines and budgeted timescales.
- Utilise client information to proactively identify opportunities for business improvement and inform clients about additional products and services offered to support their business.
- Provide support and assistance to other team members, including mentoring junior staff and ensuring client tasks are distributed efficiently.
- Collaborate with Partners to plan client budget targets, ensuring tasks are completed within budgeted timescales.
- Assist the Partner with posting and drafting invoices and preparing monthly billing targets.
- Accurately record activity codes on the timesheet daily to evaluate company and individual productivity targets.
- Undertake additional tasks as required by management to enhance client service or improve working practices.
Experience Required
- AAT qualified or working towards qualification.
- Experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literate.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to think and react fast and accurately and be proactive.
- Team player.
