Level 1 Teaching Assistant Required from: Part time 32.5 hours per week (Term time only). Fixed term until 31 August 2027. Salary: Grade C point 5-6 (£25,583-£25,989 FTE per annum). Actual Salary per annum £19,328 - £22,353.

Highbank Primary and Nursery School is seeking to appoint two Level 1 Teaching Assistants to support the class teacher with teaching and learning in the classroom and contribute to the management of pupil behaviour by encouraging positive behaviour in the classroom. These roles are fixed for one year to support children with additional SEN needs across the school. We warmly welcome applications from motivated, nurturing individuals to join our dedicated and highly effective team from 1 September 2026.

The role will include supporting pupils with additional learning needs; the post will provide one to one support for a named child with Special Educational Needs/behaviour issues / a medical condition.
