About the Company

Our client is looking for an onshore Lloyd\’s and London Market insurance SME with a deep understanding of operational functions for their UK consultancy practice. This growing global niche provider of operational and technology support, partnering insurers, brokers and MGA\’s are expanding their UK practice, this is a career opportunity to really make your own by sharing your deep knowledge of the Lloyd\’s and London market insurance business.

Essential experience includes:

• Proven experience within the London Insurance market to include comprehensive knowledge of end-to-end processes including Bureau and non-Bureau business
• Strong market intelligence of the London Insurance market
• Rich experience of working with a Carrier/Syndicate, Broker in the London Market
• Industry specific professional certifications e.g. CII
• Strong understanding of back office business processes to include Placement, Lead and Follow Underwriting, Facilities, Binders including Delegated Authority, Blueprint2 requirements and in particular Insurance Broking Accounting
• Contribution to digital transformation initiatives

Responsibilities:

• The provision of expert advice and insights on P&C and Speciality Insurance products and services
• Provision of end-to-end process expert knowledge from brokers, insurers, MGA\’s and Captives
• Development of best in class solutions and proposals for client requirements
• Client engagement and relationship management during the entire pursuit lifecycle
• Creation of tailored insurance offerings for prospective clients, addressing specific needs and requirements
• Provision of knowledge share, support and training to internal teams on P&C insurance matters
• Strong understanding of back office business processes to include Placement, Lead and Follow Underwriting, Facilities, Binders including Delegated Authority, Blueprint2 requirements and in particular Insurance Broking Accounting
