We're looking for a Senior Business Systems Support Analyst to become a vital part of our team, playing a key role in supporting Acturis and other core insurance platforms. This is more than just a support role — you'll be a trusted subject matter expert (SME), helping to improve and evolve our systems, guide others, and ensure we’re always moving forward. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Act as a key contact for 2nd line support across Acturis and related insurance systems
- Provide clear, actionable insights and updates to senior management
- Support a range of projects using Acturis as the core back-office system
- Assess and manage the impact of system upgrades, creating user-friendly guides and training materials
- Collaborate with Super Users and provide targeted training when needed
- Keep system configuration records accurate and up to date
- Continuously look for opportunities to streamline processes and introduce automation
- Capture user feedback and pass on improvement suggestions to Acturis
- Contribute to user knowledge-sharing by promoting best practices and helpful tips
- Lead and support user acceptance testing (UAT) for new features and templates
- Respond to internal support requests, ensuring timely and efficient resolutions
- Keep users informed as their queries progress
- Maintain the helpdesk log, follow up on open issues, and escalate when necessary
- Identify patterns in support queries and determine whether training, fixes, or development changes are needed
- Provide support to the document templates team as required
- Mentor and support the development of colleagues in the systems team
What You’ll Bring:
- Solid hands-on experience supporting Acturis
- Solid background in systems support or business systems administration
- Experience within the insurance or financial services sector
- Understanding of industry regulations (GDPR, FCA, TCF)
- Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
- Confidence translating complex tech-speak into business-friendly language
- Sharp attention to detail and a methodical mindset
- Skilled at juggling priorities and delivering under pressure
- Confident engaging with stakeholders across all levels
