STRICT ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA – PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING
- QUALIFICATION: You MUST already hold the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent specifically for Children & Young People). Adult Care qualifications are NOT suitable for this role.
- EXPERIENCE: Minimum 18 months experience specifically within an Ofsted Registered Children’s Home. Experience in Adult Social Care or Domiciliary Care will not be considered for this Senior post.
- RIGHT TO WORK: Applicants must currently reside in the UK and have full, permanent right to work. We DO NOT offer Visa Sponsorship or "Visa Switches."
- TRANSPORT: A Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle is essential due to the nature of the role.
The Role
High5 Recruitment is seeking three high‑calibre Senior RSWs for a brand‑new therapeutic service in Shropshire. This is a founding team opportunity. We are looking for competent Shift Leaders who have transitioned from Residential Childcare Practitioners and are ready to mentor others in a safe, consistent environment.
What we need from you
- Shift Leadership: You must be a "will‑do" leader. We need Seniors who take initiative on shift, managing the home's rhythm without needing prompts from the RM.
- Stable Employment: We look for a CV that demonstrates longevity and commitment to previous Children’s Services.
- Emotional Intelligence: A deep understanding of how to co‑regulate with young people who have experienced trauma. You must be a calm, predictable presence.
