About the Provider

We are a small, family‑run business—not a corporate chain. Founded by an ex‑Executive Headteacher with 20 years of experience in SEN and Alternative Provision, we have created a high‑standard, familial 4‑bed EBD home in Purley. In our most recent Ofsted inspection, we were rated 'Good' with 'Outstanding' Leadership and Management. We pride ourselves on being "boots on the ground" leaders who truly support our staff team.

The Role

We are looking for an energised, upbeat, and detail‑oriented Deputy Manager to join our young, supportive team. You will be working alongside our Deputy (who is currently on a development plan to step up to Registered Manager) and an experienced RI who is an ex‑Ofsted Inspector. This is a rare opportunity to join a home that invests heavily in its people. We don’t wait for external support; we’ve even hired our own Clinical Psychologist (starting next month) to provide direct supervision, training, and support for the team.

What We Offer

  • Competitive Salary: £37,500 - £45k + performance‑related bonuses.
  • Work‑Life Balance: Primarily a 9am‑5pm rota (with additional hours as required).
  • Professional Growth: Every staff member has a bespoke Professional Development Plan.
  • Added Perks: Free gym membership and food provided while on shift.
  • Support: Direct access to the Director/RM and a highly experienced RI.

What You’ll Need

  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (Essential).
  • Level 5 Diploma (Achieved or currently working towards).
  • Experience: Proven track record in a Children’s Residential setting (EBD).

We have a supportive team with a great sense of humor—we need someone who brings "good vibes" and high standards.
