We are looking for two extraordinary individuals to join a leading Derby homelessness charity. We don’t just want "staff"—we want champions, advocates, and mentors who believe that a person’s past doesn’t define their future.
We use an Advantaged Thinking approach. We don’t just look at problems; we look at strengths, talents, and potential. Your mission is to help residents unlock those assets and move toward true independence.
Responsibilities
- Be a Champion: Work alongside residents who have experienced trauma, helping them identify their unique talents.
- Relationship Builder: Build deep, trusting bonds and act as a powerful advocate with health services and landlords.
- Life Skills Coach: Support residents with everything from housing management to preparing for their very own front door.
The Details & The Rota
This is a boots-on-the-ground, full-time role (35 hours) that requires flexibility to meet our residents when they need us most. The Rota includes some late evenings and a 1 in 4 weekend rotation.
Salary: £23,569 - £25,407 (pending pay award).
Must-Haves: You must be a car driver with access to your own vehicle and be able to pass an Enhanced DBS check.
