Our venues specialise in serving great food, wine & beer across our bars, restaurants & guest accommodation. Our core food offering is Great British Pub Fayre, Gourmet Burgers, and Wood-Fired Pizzas.
Overview of Job role:
The Front of House Team Member is responsible for assisting in the running of service and to deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring accuracy and high standards of service. This role supports the Management team and kitchen by acting as a key link between the front and back of house.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational: Following the opening and closing checklist to make sure service runs smoothly. This includes:
- Polishing cutlery
- Polishing glasses
- Refilling sauces
- Cleaning the coffee machine
- Clearing tables
- Sweeping the floors
- Emptying bins
- Support for waitstaff and kitchen: Assist waitstaff by ensuring tables are set with necessary utensils, condiments, and napkins as needed. Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff regarding any guest requests or issues with orders. Quickly respond to any requests from guests or servers to ensure all needs are met in a timely manner.
- Maintaining Service Areas: Keep service stations, kitchens, and bar areas clean and organized, ready for fast order retrieval. Also, make sure to stock service stations with necessary supplies, such as glassware, utensils, and condiments, to support smooth operations.
- Customer Service: Deliver excellent customer service and ensure the team consistently meets customer satisfaction standards. Manage customer inquiries and complaints professionally to maintain a positive guest experience. Cultivate a welcoming environment for guests to enhance overall customer satisfaction.
