Location - Birmingham
Base salary: £54,878pa to c.£64,562pa depending on skills and experience. In addition, we offer a flexible benefits fund of 20% which is paid on top of the base salary and is fully pensionable, as well as a range of competitive benefits.

As a Senior Engagement and Interface Manager - Curzon Street at HS2 you will be responsible for managing, coordinating and providing oversight to the delivery teams (MWCC or Stations Integrated Project Teams (IPTs), leading the strategy for local engagement and ensuring the engagement plans and commitments are delivered.
About the Role
- Actively promote and embed Equality Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in all your work, and support and comply with all organisational initiatives, policies and procedures on EDI.
- To be accountable for demonstrating how the Delivery Teams (IPTs) are delivering the Community Engagement strategy through a regular output of data and quality case studies and are responding to and acting on intelligence gathered through the Community Engagement Insight programme.
- To be responsible for ensuring Delivery Team (IPT) plans for local engagement are in line with the HS2 Community Engagement Strategy and consistent with the approach set out by HS2 Client (route-wide teams) whilst ensuring Delivery Teams are responding to local enquiries and complaints to the standards and timeframes required.
- To be responsible for the oversight and assurance of the programme and quality of engagement plans, activities and materials delivered by the Delivery Teams (IPTs).
- To be accountable for working with Delivery Teams (IPTs) to ensure relationships are built and maintained with key local stakeholders and within the local communities.
- To lead on the relationships with key senior stakeholders and support the Public Affairs team.
- To be accountable for ensuring quality delivery of community investment programmes within the IPT.
- To be responsible for ensuring quality delivery of engagement to promote the benefits and legacy of HS2 to maximise opportunities and build understanding and support from local stakeholders and communities, including jobs and skills and the Community and Environment Fund (CEF) and Business and Local Economy Fund (BLEF).

- Experience of working with senior stakeholders and Delivery Teams, overseeing and managing the delivery of engagement activities.
- Experience of working in a political and/or regulated environment/sector.
- Experience of dealing with fast paced local or national media.
