We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across the communal areas of an office block. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring environments are safe, tidy, and welcoming for clients and staff alike. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and possess strong communication skills.
The current cleaner works 2 hours per day Monday to Friday - from 4pm or 4.30pm to 6pm or 6.30pm with an extra half an hour on Fridays to sort out the smoking shelters.
Duties- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms and communal areas to high standards.
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are followed.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly.
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
- Sweep out and empty smoking shelter.
- Previous experience in cleaning.
- Good communication skills in English are required to understand instructions and interact with clients professionally.
This role is ideal for motivated individuals who are organised, reliable, and eager to contribute to maintaining clean and hygienic environments across our facilities.
