What does a day in the role of a driver look like?

This is not your typical driving role. As a Delivery Driver/Customer Service Assistant, you’ll work closely with one of our expert Comfort Specialists, driving them to and from customer appointments, supporting with demonstrations and ensuring that our vans and showroom are always safe, tidy and reflective of our premium brand. When not on appointments, you’ll help in-store with general upkeep and customer service, becoming a key part of a small, supportive team.

Please note: This is a customer-facing role and will require the successful completion of a DBS check.

A few things you’ll need:

  • A full, clean UK driving licence
  • To be professional at all times whilst representing our premium brand, driving our comfort specialists to appointments safely and in line with the Highway Code
  • To take pride in the cleanliness of the van and to complete vehicle checks maintaining roadworthiness
  • To offer a friendly face to customers and assist colleagues with day-to-day tasks when supporting in the showroom (as required), including light maintenance tasks helping to keep the space welcoming and premium
  • To undertake regular training to ensure the wellbeing of customers, colleagues and yourself, following health and safety guidelines
  • A great eye for detail and a willingness to go the extra mile
  • A good local area knowledge and an awareness of potential traffic issues or roadworks
  • The ability to safely load, unload, lift and carry heavy items such as demonstration chairs
  • High standards to manage the van stock levels and report any maintenance needs
