Main purpose of the role:
Working as part of a Manufacturing Team, that delivers comfort solutions through a range of quality furniture products. The assembler, reporting to the Production Manager, will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing team carrying out a variety of roles in the production process. Working in a fast-paced production environment ensuring targets and deadlines are met and outputs meet the quality standards and product specifications.
Key responsibilities:
- Complying with Health and Safety procedures as set out in the company’s Health and Safety policy.
- Ensuring good housekeeping is maintained at all times.
- Support overtime within the business when needed.
- Use of air compressed hand tools.
- Assembly of furniture using various hand tools.
- Assembly of action mechanisms and attaching motors.
- Building action mechanisms and attaching electrical operating systems.
- Other ad-hoc tasks to assist in modern furniture production.
Position requirements / Qualifications:
- Previous experience of working in a modern furniture production role.
- Competent in using a variety of hand tools.
Competencies:
