We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing infrastructure services business that operates across the UK, delivering critical electrical works to commercial and industrial clients, including fuel retail and petrol forecourt environments. This is a role for an electrician who takes real pride in their work, values autonomy, and wants to be part of a business that genuinely invests in the development of its people.
With realistic overtime, total earnings typically reach £55,000-£60,000, and the business has a strong track record of supporting engineers through further qualifications, including CompEx certification if you're not already there.
The Role
You'll be working across a varied portfolio of sites carrying out electrical works for commercial and industrial clients. Day-to-day you'll largely work independently, but you'll be well-supported by a wider team of engineers, management and support staff. Responsibilities can include:
- Carrying out a mixture of installation, inspection and testing as well as reactive and remedial duties
- Liaising directly with clients on site to discuss ongoing works and identify further service needs
- Completing test certifications and RAMS documentation to the required standard
- Representing the business professionally at all times
What You'll Need
Essential Qualifications & Certifications:
- C&G 2330 or equivalent / NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
- 18th Edition Certification
- C&G 2391 or equivalent (Inspection & Testing)
- JIB Gold Card / ECS Gold Card
Experience & Skills:
- Hands-on electrical experience in commercial or industrial settings
- Competent in completing RAMS documentation
- Valid, clean UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK
- Strong commitment to health and safety
- The Right Attitude; A confident self-starter who works well independently
- Clear, professional communicator with both clients and colleagues
- Motivated to grow with a business that values development and innovation
Desirable:
- CompEx Ex07 & Ex08 - if you don't hold this yet, the business is prepared to support the right candidate through certification, so please don't let this put you off applying
The Package
- £43,000-£45,000 depending on qualifications and experience
