Experienced Forklift Drivers
Location: Newbury, Berkshire
Contract: Permanent and Full Time
Salary: £15.50 - £17 per hour (£32,200 - £35,300 per annum)
Hours: Rotating Day Shifts or Permanent Night Shifts
We are currently recruiting experienced Forklift drivers to join a busy and well-established operation in Newbury on a permanent, full-time basis. Our client is a UK-based food manufacturing business specialising in the production of high-quality products supplied to major retailers, foodservice providers, and hospitality sectors. Operating within a fast-paced production and distribution environment, the company plays a key role in ensuring consistent quality, food safety, and efficient delivery across its supply chain, while investing in modern facilities and a skilled workforce to support continued growth.
This is an excellent opportunity for skilled operators looking to move away from temporary work and secure a stable role with an option for either permanent night shifts working Sunday to Thursday (10pm to 6am), or on a weekly rotating day shift Monday to Friday (6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm).
About The Role
- Operating Counterbalance forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently
- Stock movement, put-away, and replenishment
- Supporting goods-in/goods-out operations
- General warehouse duties including picking and packing
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety at all times
About You
- Valid Forklift licence (Counterbalance ideally)
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and committed
- Team player with a proactive, can-do attitude
- Flexibility to work shifts
