Overview: Maintenance Engineer (Nights) – Nottingham. Permanent night shift: Mon - Thurs 10pm to 6am, Fri 8pm to 3am. Salary £35,000 + 33% Night Shift Allowance (total earnings £46,500).
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing environment who can keep production running, solve problems, and ensure machines and processes operate at their best.
Responsibilities:- Delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes
- Responding quickly to breakdowns, repairs, and work requests
- Supporting major projects across manufacturing equipment and infrastructure
- Working with injection moulding machines, CNC machinery, and conveyor systems
- Applying hands-on knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
- Ensuring all work meets Health & Safety standards
- 5+ years experience in maintenance engineering within manufacturing
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
- Electrical qualifications to 18th Edition BS7671 (essential) and Inspection & Testing desirable
- A proactive approach with strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
- Driving licence and own vehicle as you may need to travel to support another local site (mileage covered)
- £35,000 base salary + 33% night shift allowance (total £46,500)
- 33 days holiday (including public holidays)
