Program & Location: Plymouth Inpatient Campus
Sign on Bonus: $3,000
Pay Range: $34 – $54.50 per hour (depending on license and experience)
Status: Per Diem
Shift: Any shift
High Point & Affiliated Organizations is a health and human service agency whose mission is to treat and prevent substance use disorders and mental illness. High Point recognizes, more now than ever, the need for a work life balance! Schedules can be developed off of 4, 8, or 12 hour shifts. Our leave time package for eligible staff is unmatched and allows employees the time off they need to rest, relax and enjoy life! Time off requests placed with more than 30 days are typically granted and within 30 days a scheduler app assists in trading or filling shifts. Shift trades are allowed even if it accrues overtime. High Point also understands the need to support and recognize staff diversity. In addition to our leave time package, we offer one floating holiday per quarter to allow staff the time off to observe and celebrate their cultures and beliefs! Also, we are consistently monitoring the economy and like agencies to adjust our pay grades at least once a year to, not only remain competitive, but to maintain livable wages. Continued education opportunities assist RN’s in expanding their skills.
Responsibilities
- Assisting patients on their journey to recovery from substance use disorders.
- Provide noninvasive medical care- medical management to evaluate and assess patient’s level of withdrawal using evidence-based protocols.
- Physically low-impact position where the patients are mostly able to manage their own ADLs and ambulation.
- Work as a 2-3 person nursing team to provide care coordination and case management.
- Assure patient care meets best practice standards utilizing nursing skills, experience to maintain a safe and therapeutic milieu.
- Medication administration, count and register.
- Provide thorough, accurate and complete documentation of treatment and care in the Electronic Health Record.
- Monitor, assess and treat patient conditions appropriately.
- Other duties as assigned.
