About the Position

We’re looking for a creative, data-driven Social Media Producer to help shape how millions of people experience two of our podcasts across social platforms. This role isn’t just about managing posts; it’s about finding the most powerful & shareable moments from our podcasts and building a genuinely inspiring digital presence that changes lives. For this role, you’ll be looking after the social output of two of our shows: On The Mend (hosted by Matt Willis) and an unannounced female-focused wellness show that launches this summer. You’ll have proven experience managing multiple social media channels (Instagram, TikTok & Facebook), video editing, and community engagement. Strong editorial decision-making skills are key for creating engaging content that inspires, motivates, and enhances the brand of each show you’re representing. You’ll also be someone who deeply understands the culture of content: what resonates, what gets shared, and what earns real attention.

Responsibilities

  • Multi-channel content strategy – Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy across social platforms to drive podcast visibility, audience growth & community engagement.
  • Video editing and clipping – Edit standout clips from long-form episodes using a combination of Adobe Premiere and AI tools like Opus, ensuring alignment with the tone and style of the content.
  • Creation of original social content – Going into the studio (or outside of it!) to capture content specifically for socials to help generate attention and grow the podcast brand.
  • Social Content scheduling – Upload and schedule all content across Facebook, Instagram & TikTok ensuring alignment with the overall social/marketing calendar and partner requirements.
  • Community management – Monitor and engage with the community across social, responding to comments and messages to foster a positive and active audience.
  • Performance tracking and reporting – Analyse key metrics using platform analytics tools (e.g. Meta Business Suite, TikTok Studio), & use insights to refine strategies.

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated success managing and growing social media channels, with a track record of increasing views, engagement, and followers/subscribers.
  • Deep understanding of social algorithms, trends, and key performance metrics, with strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Excellent video editing proficiency using tools such as Adobe Premiere and Opus, as well as relevant scheduling and analytics platforms e.g. Meta Business Suite.
  • Experience in graphic design and creating visually engaging content (carousels, thumbnails) using tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, etc.
  • Ability to work independently, solve problems, and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, attention to detail, and a test-and-learn mindset.
  • Experience working in podcasting or for a social media publisher would be an advantage for this role, but not essential.

Our goal is to welcome everyone and create inclusive teams and workplaces. We take our responsibilities under the Equality Act seriously, we celebrate differences and encourage everyone to be themselves at work.
