We are expanding our business and we are welcoming new members to our team. We want to get in touch if you are a compassionate Healthcare Assistant. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients in their own homes. This position requires traveling in the High Peak area, so a driving license and access to your own car is mandatory. At the moment, we cannot provide sponsorship for this job.
Duties:
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
- Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Monitor and report any changes in patients' conditions or behaviours to the appropriate healthcare staff.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Document patient care activities accurately using our app.
- Participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Driver and access to a car - we pay your mileage.
- Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is preferred but not essential - full training offered.
- Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
- A compassionate approach with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts as required by the role.
