KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
1. Actively promote a positive and collaborative workplace culture that supports the Charity’s purpose of Making Life Better and i-care values to increase morale, productivity and performance.
2. Deliver a high standard of service to all customers using Café Botanics.
3. Comply with all High Life Highland policies & procedures including role Model Behaviour
4. Assist in the professional operation of the Café contributing to a safe, healthy, hygienic and professional environment.
5. Assist with the preparation and service of all meals as instructed, meeting company standards.
6. Ensure that company and statutory policies and regulations regarding Hygiene, Health and Safety, Food Hygiene and HACCAP are complied with at all times including policies regarding COSHH, fire, security, alarms, energy conservation, recycling and terrorist activity.
7. Ensure all areas of Café Botanics are hygienically kept to a very high standard.
8. Report any complaint, compliment or incident of accident or near miss, fire, theft, loss, damage or other irregularity to the Café Supervisor
9. Assist with the delivery of the Company’s Role Model Behaviours document and support any quality initiatives throughout the facility at any one time.
10. Pursue continuous professional development and contribute to the continuous improvement of Inverness Botanic Gardens and High Life Highland as a whole.
11. Attend and undertake any training online or in person.
12. Aim to reduce wastage and uphold our environmental values of being as sustainable as possible in all tasks.
13. Assist and support other areas of High Life Highland with particular projects, training or in the event of holidays or sickness working cross-functionally across the Inverness Botanic Gardens team.
