About Us

High Impact Academic Coaching Ltd. is an established alternative provision provider delivering high-quality, bespoke education to young people with SEND. We work with students who require tailored intervention, personalised support, and consistent engagement to achieve positive progress academically and emotionally.

The Role

We are seeking patient, committed tutors to provide 1:1 Maths and/or English tuition to SEND learners aged between 11 and 25.

You may specialise in English, Maths, or teach both subjects depending on your skill set.

You must be able to:

• Deliver structured learning plans and personalised strategies
• Track progress and maintain high-quality reporting
• Commit to students consistently and reliably
• Build rapport with learners who may experience barriers to engagement

Hours are flexible, ranging from 10 to 40 hours per week, depending on availability and student allocation.

Candidate Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
UK-based and able to travel locally (face-to-face role)
Experience or willingness to support SEND learners
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Reliability, patience, and commitment to student outcomes

Safeguarding Commitment

High Impact Academic Coaching Ltd. follows safer-recruitment procedures aligned with statutory safeguarding guidance, including Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE). All applicants will be required to:

• Undergo an Enhanced DBS check (with barred-list where applicable)
• Provide suitable references prior to engagement
• Show original identity documentation
• Complete safeguarding training as part of induction

Successful applicants must read and adhere to KCSIE Part 1 and maintain the highest standards of safeguarding and welfare at all times.
