The Role

We are seeking patient, committed tutors to provide 1:1 Maths and/or English tuition to SEND learners aged between 11 and 25. You may specialise in English, Maths, or teach both subjects depending on your skill set.

You must be able to:

  • Deliver structured learning plans and personalised strategies
  • Track progress and maintain high-quality reporting
  • Commit to students consistently and reliably
  • Build rapport with learners who may experience barriers to engagement

Hours are flexible, ranging from 10 to 40 hours per week, depending on availability and student allocation.

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • UK-based and able to travel locally (face-to-face role)
  • Experience or willingness to support SEND learners
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Reliability, patience, and commitment to student outcomes
